How the party began
One evening in March 2017, the play on words began at a get-together with friends: Gin de Binche! The phrase amused the guests so much that Jérôme and his wife Céline decided to create this new brand of gin. 9 months later, a flash of folkloric genius would turn into a commercial success.
A fun-loving homage to Binche folklore, the spirit produced by a master distiller is dominated by blood orange aromas. Even the bottle is shaped like the cobblestones of the famous walled city.
Two new creations are expected in 2020, Plus Oultre Bitters and Bintje Vodka.
Renowned expertise
Gin de Binche has picked up more than 10 awards in a short period of time, including double gold at New York, platinum (the highest distinction) at San Francisco, gold at the 2018 and 2019 spirit selection at Brussels and even silver at Berlin, London and Las Vegas.
Everyone who tastes our product embraces it. Such enthusiasm that some are already doing us the honour of describing us as one of the best Belgian gins.
In 2020, our Bitters also picked up Gold at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, with the “Plus Oultre Distillery” taking the title of distillery of the year at New York.

A 100% local product
Originally from and residents of Binche, Céline and Jérôme love gin but also their city, where their regional entrepreneurial adventure took root. They both take care of direct sales to distributors, avoiding purchasing groups, both for stock and brand image purposes.
All the components and partners of our distillery are selected for their quality, but also for their geographical proximity. We want a local product with local partners.
Even on the gin bottle itself, the information is directly screen-printed onto the glass by a local craftsman.
Our philosophy
The Plus Oultre Distillery has deliberately refused to collaborate with large chains and hard discounters.
We want to work only with independent wine merchants, delicatessens, specialist stores, farm shops, chocolatiers, etc., which we consider to be the best ambassadors of the now renowned quality of our product.
In Belgium, our hotel, restaurant and catering clients are very often Michelin-starred or industry-leading establishments.
We regularly work on new products.
